Turmeric supplement

1. There is no good evidence that Turmeric reduces risks of cardiac events, slows cognitive decline, or prevents cancer.
2. There is some evidence that Turmeric can help ease symptoms of seasonal allergies and arthritis of the knee. However, turmeric is poorly absorbed by our body and studies show mixed results.
3. Turmeric spice alone will not reach therapeutic doses in your body. you will need to take a supplement and take it with food to improve absorption. Typical dose is 1-2grams per day to see any benefit.
4. Some sources of Turmeric have been found to be contaminated with lead. If you are purchasing a Turmeric supplement, find one that is USP verified and has labeled ingredients.
